[...] After moving I’ve not had the space to play tabletop games too often lately. The table that we built previously is located over an hour away from me now so I don’t get to use it. We managed to find the space to fit a folding table recently so I decided to set to work building another table. This one is a lot smaller than the other table and is of a slightly improved design. You can also keep up to date with this over in the full table gallery. [...]
This is the second gaming table I built. This one is 4'x4' with a 1/4" lipped edge. It stands 30" tall with 4 folding legs. I used a lot of the knowledge I gained with the first table to construct this one. The idea was to create a 4'x4' lipped table with 1 removable lip edge. Later I'll create a matching table. The tables can then be put together by removing the removable sides and bolting the two together creating a single 8'x4' gaming table.
